I have tutored a wide range of mathematics for high schoolers and college students alike. As a private tutor, I have helped students from grades 9 to 12 in everything from algebra to pre-calculus. At Keene State I worked as an official drop-in mathematics tutor for 3 years. There I aided students in any math subject ranging from calculus to differential equations. I also was a peer-course assistant in probability and statistics classes, which entailed helping the professor teach the course by hosting and facilitating study sessions for the students. In 2015 I was awarded the Peerless Insurance Company Excellence in Mathematics Award for being the graduating senior with the highest GPA in mathematics courses. Through years of experience in tutoring students in math, I have developed quite a passion for helping people learn. Tutoring has always been a rewarding experience, and helping others grasp difficult concepts is not only satisfying but a learning experience for me as well. Mathematics is a subject I love and am very passionate about. I try to bring that excitement to those I tutor, who oftentimes may dislike math or be intimidated by it.
